Cafe Bunn Mi is one of the best banh mi places I've been to in SF. They have all the flavors you want in a banh mi, are not too spicy and are STUFFED with meat. I got the grilled pork which was really good but apparently their specialty is the crispy duck.

Came here for dinner last night with my boyfriend. Loved how it's a casual dining space. You order up front then take a seat at one of the many seats inside. My boyfriend and I both ordered the House Combination Beef Pho. At the front you can grab your utensils and saucers for the Sriracha & Hoisin. The broth was delicious & flavorful, though it was almost to the point where it was too salty. The noodles and beef were good. Not the greatest pho I've had. 7/10. Adding the lemon was a great choice. Next time I'll definitely try one of their many Banh Mis. Can't wait to be back!

The garlic fries, chicken wings and banh mi delicious! Dinosaurs is our go to spot but have to say that we enjoyed Cafe Bunn Mi almost as much.

I tried the roast duck bahn mi, and it was a cold night, so I ordered a bowl of broth, which was soothing for the soul. The bread was a bit soft and large and not typically the type of banh mi I like.

Called in to pickup a crispy duck sandwich, and service was very friendly despite them being bombarded with orders. The sandwich came out to around $18, which is a bit pricier than I'd like for a banh mi, and it took ten minutes to be ready. The duck had some crunchy juicy parts and also some tougher dry parts, but that's as expected from duck meat. Flavors were on point and I love the mayo with the slaw. The bread is also perfected toasted and soft inside. I'd come back to try their other sandwiches if I'm craving a Vietnamese sandwich nearby.

Food - ordered the crispy duck bahn mi. Pretty unique because I don't think most places have duck! Bread was super crispy. Duck was flavorful and had a lot of meat and veggies. Highly recommend! The price is a little expensive though. I think I paid around $21-$23 for a bahn mi and Thai tea. Thai tea was average. Not too sweet and pretty standard. Service - pretty good. Ordered and seated myself. Food came out pretty fast. Ambiance- very small with a few tables. They also have seating outside in front so that's always a good choice but tables were pretty full when I got there. I do like that they have a row of single seaters near the window. Nice view and comfortable seating.
