The restaurant was so well organized and it gave such a homey vibe. It was very comfortable seating as well. The service was quick and even provided us more banchan without us asking. They were nice and sweet even when we were leaving. The food.... Let me tell you. The food was amazingly amazing. I can't tell you how good it is... you need to go try it yourself. The portions were so big too that I had to share a noodle with two of my friends. The dumplings were so crispy... the pancake were so crispy. I would definitely go here again!!!

One of my favorite spots for Korean comfort food. They're super warm and inviting. They have the crispiest seafood pancakes and you have to get the okonomiyaki version. The bonito flakes really elevates the dish. The banchan is also one of the best in queens. They're super quick to refill when you finish the ban chan. I got the seafood soondubu, the broth was rich and spicy, with generous portions of seafood.

⁂ Haemul Oko Pajeon Seafood pancake with a japanese twist to it (bonito flakes and okonomi sauces ) which was soo soo good. The pancake was super crispy and flavors were so umami. Would go here again just for this! Just look at how it moves hehe (9/10) ⁂ Signature Kalguksu Their signature wide noodle. The broth had good flavor and the noodles were so soft. I wouldn't say there was anything spectacular about this but went well with the other stuff we ordered. (7/10) ⁂ Eomuk ulken Sujubi Fishcake wide noodle in spicy broth. I loved the texture of the noodles and the fishcakes were very tasty. I can't really take spice but wanted variety in the meal so this was a bit difficult to eat without downing a much of water as well. However, it was very tasty and would op for this again but maybe ask for less spicy haha (7/10) The kimchi and sweet radish were very good. The soups were okay, would probably go during the cold season as it was very warming to eat.

My friend and I went there on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30 pm. The place was packed but we got seated right away by a gracious host/server who helped us arrange ourselves and our drenching umbrellas. Perfect rainy weather for a kalguksu btw. While we were going through the menu she suggested that if we are ordering a pajeon then we should order only one soup since it would be too much food if we ordered more than that for 2 people. We appreciated having that information and also it made us feel that the people working there genuinely cared of us enjoying the food and not just upselling. About the food. The kimchi is very fresh so you won't find any hint of sourness (if you're expecting it). The radish was smothered in soy sauce and (seemed like) honey or mirin. Haemul pajeon was made nice and crisp upon our request but I felt like it was missing something (maybe it needed a little bit more green onions in and on it) but the seafood in it was of good quality and it paired very well with the sujebi broth. Now the star of the lunch was the spicy chicken sujebi. The broth was soul warmingly spicy and the noodles were the perfect melt in your mouth texture. I would definitely suggest visiting this place before the cold season ends to have the kalguksu or sujebi. I most certainly am. Enjoy

I recently visited Daesung Korean Noodle in Flushing, New York, and let me tell you, the experience was worth every minute of the wait! We arrived on a bustling Saturday during lunchtime, and the popularity of this place was evident as we had to wait for 45 minutes to secure a table for our group of five. However, the vibrant atmosphere and beautiful weather made the wait enjoyable, allowing us to explore the lively surroundings. **Popularity and Fresh Kimchi:** Daesung Korean Noodle is clearly a local favorite in Flushing, drawing in a crowd that speaks to its popularity. The restaurant seems to take pride in its fresh kimchi, with signs showcasing prices for those who wish to take some home. This attention to detail in their specialties piqued our interest. **Appetizers:** We kicked off our meal with fried dumplings and a hameul pajeon (seafood pancake), both of which were exceptional. The dumplings were delightfully crunchy and bursting with flavor. The seafood pancake, loaded with various toppings, provided a flavor explosion in every bite. **Main Course - Kalguksu:** The star of the show was undoubtedly the kalguksu, the noodle dish that stole the spotlight. With options like spicy kalguksu, haemul kalguksu (seafood), clam kalguksu, chicken kalguksu, and more, our group explored a variety of flavors. Each dish was a culinary delight, leaving us all satisfied and impressed. **Service and Quality:** Despite the initial wait, the service was swift and efficient. The staff seemed well-prepared to handle the bustling crowd, and our orders arrived promptly. The high-quality side dishes complemented the main courses perfectly, showcasing the attention to detail and dedication to flavor. **Recommendation:** While the journey from Manhattan may be a bit of a trek, the fast service, delectable food, and top-notch side dishes make Daesung Korean Noodle a place worth revisiting. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience in Flushing, this restaurant is a definite recommendation! In conclusion, Daesung Korean Noodle exceeded our expectations with its flavorful dishes and welcoming ambiance. We left with satisfied taste buds and a promise to return for another round of delicious kalguksu.

This place has the best seafood pancake I've ever had. Would get the one with the bonito flakes as it adds another layer of umami and texture. The kimchi they give you is fresh, crunchy and slightly spicy. Wonderful compliment to the noodles. I ordered the short neck clams soft tofu kalguksu which was a nice mix as my friends with just noodles found it a little too much. The clams were had some residual sand left in them so would not recommend if that bothers you. There were a few orders of short neck clam noodles so the issue was prevalent.
