For starters, me and my man came here as a date because we wanted to try something new. The service is good and everybody is really attentive. The food was a good 6/10 and that's bc the Mac and cheese was really bland but all in all, I'm glad we tried something new instead of our regular American cuisine.

Food is so good well portioned and worth it. We still had leftovers from both meals we ordered. There is a line so be prepared for a little wait time, however they give you menurs while you are in line to give you time decide what you want before you enter. Boh indoor and patio dining available as well. Accessible parking is available, however if you plan on trying to park close keep in mind it's a village of shops and other restaurants so you may have to wait for others to leave to grap a parking spot. The veiw is beautiful and close to docked boats, the queen of Mary and walking distance to the Pike and shopping. Definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

This is where creole meets the beach. Great music and food. This is truly the NOLA atmosphere. We enjoyed the "back porch" with the view of the Pacific Ocean. The jambalaya was the perfect texture and flavor and a large portion. Not soupy like some others. The catfish with gravy rice was tasty and had leftover. The Ribs were seasoned well with tender meat. The half of rack are meaty ribs. The cocktails are mixed well. The staff are helpful. You well need to paid for your food at the time of order. They will not accept cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay nor Android Pay. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated. This restaurant was feature on ABC 7 new as a must visit restaurant.

Ok so I'll give 5 stars because the line was out the door at 12:30pm on a Sunday! Also the view of the water is nice. Shoreline is a catch. However the receptionist told me to hold on when I asked her to pick up my order and she directed another staff to handle it which she could had just pointed to the pick up bag which was ready for me to pick up. But I will say I always had a desire to try this place. I'll say I see mostly minority people here. Next time I come here I'll review the food! I'll give an update!

We were seated outside on the patio. While the wait staff was pleasant and the food came out fairly quickly. They fell short on seasoning. The bbq pulled chicken sandwich was surprisingly flat with barely any chicken or slaw in it. This was a bit of a bummer. The shrimp were large. For me, the fried shrimp, while a bit on the salty side, still had more flavor than the grilled Cajon shrimp. They don't allow half fried and half grilled, so I ordered the fried ones on the side. I really wanted to try their candied yams. Well, they were most certainly sweet, but that's it. Just sweet. It was alright. Perhaps I should come back and have another try at something different on the menu.

So I stumbled across this place was because I wanted to try a completely different type of cultural cuisine. Of course I Yelped my way here to, 'Louisiana Charlie's,' restaurant inside Shoreline Village, Long Beach, CA. I actually didn't know what I wanted to order, but I recalled a former experience with some friends about Louisiana styled food, so I went for Spicy Cajun Pasta with Grilled chicken. I only took a star off because when I added extra grilled chicken, I thought it would be more than 6 pieces, so perhaps next time I will try a different dish that already comes with some meat type. The sauce was extremely buttery....but super tasty. I also ordered house Brew to go along with a cup of water to wash down the oil.... The pasta dish came with a piece of garlic bread, now that was Some garlic bread. I'll return here for another dish and update, because I was already stuffed from eating an entire piece of garlic bread from here..... Be right back.
