A family restaurant at the western end of Simi Valley adds an authentic touch to Simi's growing dine-out options. It is Persian food with a Mediterranean touch. The food is prepared fresh after you place your order, therefore allow 20 minutes for the cooking time. The owner takes the order and also serves you. He's very friendly and adds a touch of humor in his interactions with his customers. We had the beef barg ($19.99, flank steak? ), boneless joojeh kabob ($16.99, game hen kabobs), and beef koubudieh ($14.99, ground beef on skewers). Each dish came with aromatic basmati rice and a grilled tomato. We also had an appetizer plate of falafel ($5.99, 4 pieces), and Persian tea. The food was delicious! But, for me, the best part of the meal was the green salad of crisp and fresh, romaine lettuce with cucumber and tomato slices, with the most amazing yoghurt based dressing- very Persian, but also with a uniquely individualized touch!

Highly recommended Mediterranean/Persian restaurant! We were in the area and looked for a place to have lunch, and stopped in. We ordered koobideh, falafel, hummus, salads and their house made pickles (torshi). All the food was delicious and the falafel was so unique and amazing. The service was great! The owner is such a nice person and really left a lasting impression. He was very gracious and the service really brought the entire meal together. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Such a wonderful inclusive experience! I've never had Iranian food before and this was definitely a new perspective I needed on what 'Mediterranean' includes. I loved the chicken and lamb it was all so flavorful and I'm dreaming of that salad dressing still!!! Lots of seating! Great for larger groups! Helpful staff, the head chef guides you through your meal!

Wow! So delicious! Took a girlfriend here for her birthday and loved it! The beef koobideh was delicious and freshly grilled. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. Highly recommend!
