Best burger and bang for your buck! Local spot that I've been going to since I was a baby. Make sure you eat it hot it's not the best ordered for take out all steamed up in the bag. Their special sauce and ranch are superb!

Jacks is a Santa Cruz staple for a reason! They had tasty burgers and friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and the prices and incredibly fair. Super fresh! They have a nice small parking lot too!

Love the chill vibe. Prices are fair. House sauce is bomb order extra to dip your fries in..... fries are delicious! I got the mushroom Swiss burger which was really good and my sister got the cheeseburger. Only complaint was the meat was a little over cooked for our liking . Will be back

Solid burger spot one street over from the main drag of downtown Santa Cruz. Stopped here with some friends after wandering around UCSC. The menu was expansive and everything was reasonably priced. My chipotle burger with fries came out to around $12.30, which I thought was a steal. The fries were warm, crispy, and salty. The burger had this smoky flavor which reminded me of backyard bbq burgers, which was complemented by the spiciness of the chipotle sauce. The cucumbers were a nice change of pace from pickles; they weren't was acidic, but added a cool zesty flavor. Check this place out if you're a fan of unpretentious burgers and fair prices.
