I've come here multiple times and I noticed they are starting to upgrade which is nice to see. I do like coming here but the least favorite thing is the customer service. They barely try sometimes . One time I asked a random server for extra meat. She informed my actually server and my actual server came to confirm with me my meat order. Why did both of the servers come with the order? It's like they communicate but not the whole way. Also the bacon wasn't consistent and turned a questionable color. The waitress couldn't answer why . I do like the food here for the most part and I'll keep going

In the mood for Korean barbecue and decided to check out somewhere new. First time having Korean BBQ in Hawaiian Gardens. The interior is not that big and was empty when we arrived at noon, but then filled up during our meal. Service was attentive and friendly. There are three levels of all-you-can-eat (AYCE), A, B, and C. We opted for the mid-range B for $24.99 + tax as of November 2023, since I wanted intestines as an option. The meats were actually better quality than I expected, and presented beautifully with generous portions. The banchan were average, but refillable. Steamed white rice was okay. Water in a carafe was provided at the table, and we got a pair of tongs and scissors. The grill was gas-based and shield shaped. Several bottles are provided for you to make your own sauce at the table. Overall, not the best AYCE Korean BBQ ever, but great value and truly exceeded my expectations.

What an amazing experience here at J Korean BBQ. The hospitality given was superb! Server Deniz is long overdue for a raise! She went above and beyond, trying to give us the best experience here. Keep in mind that she was the only server here serving our table and many more, plus new customers arriving. Wow, respect to her, and shame on the business for the lack of help given to Deniz. The presentation setup given at our table was excellent! The atmosphere here was very VIBING, with a great choice in music, and the lighting was right. Very clean and sanitized! Hopefully, some upgrades on seating area, some tear and wear. Let's dive into the wonderful, delicious dishes, or you can say sides/items. Sides are limited to at least 4 different ones, but you can request an additional side on the menu for an additional price. We started off ordering, 1. Beef Brisket, Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken, and Chicken Bulgogi. 2. Steamed rice (1 per person, will be a charge for more), Kimchi (upon request), Macaroni salad (additional cause it was delicious), and Rice paper (additional cause was delicious). 3. Lychee Soju ( so good and refreshing) Everything was delicious and flavorful. Quality is fresh, and portions are just right per order. To finish it off, we ended with some ice cream (tradition thing, lol), but you need to request for it(several choices to choose from), and portions are tiny! Overall experience was fantastic. 5 stars for Server Deniz and 4 stars for the business! This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. Good! Went here twice in a few month as it was recommended. The mesh is decent quality and the grills are nice. The sides aren't that great but they're ok. They dont have any of the steamed eggs or soups or any of the really good ones included. The normal sides are only ok, as mentioned. I think the value is good though and it's all you can eat. Good service too!

This place has the best food and is my favorite restaurant! The flavors here beat all other local Korean BBQ spots! The wife and I are always making our way to "J's" whenever we can. Try the Brisket and Beef Bulgogi.
